Limited Edition Sunset Finger Spikey DUO – Standard & Tighter
Two levels of firm, focused finger input in our limited-edition Sunset finish.
The Sunset Finger Spikey DUO includes both the Standard and Tighter Finger Spikey, making it the easiest way to explore which level of constriction and sensory intensity works best in different moments.
Sunset is created through an electroplated oil-slick finish, producing shifting tones inspired by a sunset. Each piece has its own chromatic variation, so no two sets will look exactly the same.
Choosing the right fit
Finger size is only part of the decision—the main difference is the intensity of input. The Standard Finger Spikey provides firm textured feedback, while the Tighter version is smaller and significantly firmer to roll.
- Standard: approximately 13 mm internal diameter unstretched.
- Tighter: approximately 10 mm internal diameter unstretched.
The Standard is generally the more versatile choice for twisting around a finger, placing at the base of a finger and clenching, or using as a picking substitute. The Tighter version suits people who actively seek stronger, more concentrated pressure.
Helpful to know
These are made from woven, expandable carbon steel. They feel stretchy and flexible while still providing firm, textured input. The duo is particularly helpful when sensory needs change across the day or when you are unsure which intensity will suit.
Some ways to use them
- Roll: move up and down a finger using the same or opposite hand.
- Clench: place at the base of a finger—often the middle finger—and gently clench the hand.
- Twist: rotate around the finger with the thumb while controlling the pressure.
- Pick: place on the pointer finger and use the thumbnail to pick at the side of the Spikey.
- Rub: move between the palms for a scratchy, textured sensation.
- Hold: manipulate in one or both hands as a quiet regulation tool.
Who may find this helpful?
People who seek strong, focused sensory feedback may find the Spikey range useful for regulation, concentration, tactile awareness and harm-minimisation. It can also provide an alternative action for skin, nail or clothing picking.
For some people, Finger Spikeys provide safe ouch—strong sensation without intentionally damaging the skin. They are one tool for the kit-bag and do not replace professional mental-health or medical support.
Sensory profile
Firm, textured, scratchy and pressure-based. Rolling creates concentrated tactile input; clenching or twisting allows the user to control the intensity.
Regulation style it suits
Best suited to people who regulate through strong tactile input, deep focused pressure, repetitive rolling or a controlled safe ouch sensation.
May not suit
It may not suit people who prefer soft or low-intensity input, have reduced sensation or circulation concerns, or tend to pull, over-stretch, untwist or test products beyond their intended movement.

Wipe clean and dry thoroughly. Hand sanitiser, creams, moisture and repeated friction may gradually affect or fade the electroplated colour.
If a looser fit is required, the Spikey can be gently and evenly stretched a little at a time. Once stretched it cannot be returned to its original size. Over-stretching can permanently distort it.
Important safety and product limitations
Monitor the skin and circulation during use. Remove immediately if there is numbness, discolouration, swelling, pain that persists, or other signs of restricted circulation. Do not leave on a finger for prolonged periods without checking the skin.
Do not repeatedly twist the Spikey back and forth on itself, pull it apart or stretch it aggressively. This can open the join or permanently alter its shape and is not considered a manufacturing fault.
Not suitable for children under 3 years. Use with appropriate supervision. Please consult a treating clinician before use for pain, swelling, altered sensation, circulation concerns or another specific medical condition.
Built for purpose. Crafted for function.
