Wheel Spinner - Oil Slick Copper Sensory Support
The much-loved Wheel Spinner is back—redesigned to feel even better in the hand.
This beautifully weighted metal spinner combines an exceptionally smooth, almost silent high-performance bearing with eight removable arms and a gently concave centre on both sides. Hold the centre like a rubbing stone, enjoy the balanced visual spin, or change the arm configuration to create a stronger wobble and grounding jolt through the hand.
At approximately 60 mm wide, this version is smaller and easier to manage than the original without losing the substantial, high-quality feel that made the Kaiko Wheel Spinner a bestseller & firm fav!
Choosing the right fit
With all eight arms attached, the Wheel Spinner produces a smooth, balanced spin with visual movement and a beautifully weighted feel. Removing one or more arms changes both the total weight and its distribution. An uneven setup deliberately counterbalances the spinner, creating a pronounced wobble or jolt through the fingers and hand.
That stronger movement may be particularly useful for people who seek clear, grounding sensory feedback during dysregulation, overwhelm or feelings of disconnection. The intensity can be adjusted by experimenting with how many arms are removed and where the remaining arms sit.
Helpful to know
- All eight arms unscrew individually.
- Removing arms changes the weight, balance and spinning sensation.
- An uneven arrangement creates the strongest wobble or shudder.
- The smooth concave centre can be rubbed with the thumb even when the spinner is not moving.
- The bearing is exceptionally smooth and almost silent, making it suitable for quieter environments.
- Each spinner comes in a window tin.
Optional Spikey Spinner Hub
We’re excited to introduce the Spikey Spinner Hub, available separately. The standard smooth concave centre can be removed and replaced with the textured Spikey hub to add stronger, more focused safe ouch input while spinning or holding the tool.
The Wheel Spinner includes the smooth concave hub. The Spikey Spinner Hub is an optional accessory and is not included.
Who may find this helpful?
The Wheel Spinner may suit people who enjoy weighted metal tools, repetitive visual movement, smooth thumb-rubbing surfaces or adjustable levels of movement through the hand. Its removable arms also make it useful for people whose sensory needs change across different moments.
Sensory profile
Weighted, smooth, visually engaging and almost silent. Balanced use offers a fluid, controlled spin; an uneven arm arrangement creates stronger vibration, wobble and proprioceptive feedback through the hand.
Regulation style it suits
May suit people who regulate through repetitive spinning, weighted input, controlled visual movement, thumb rubbing or stronger grounding feedback.
May not suit
It may not suit people who dislike metal tools, moving visual input, weight in the hand or stronger vibration. The removable arms are small parts and require appropriate care and supervision.
Positioning note
This is a sensory regulation tool, not a medical device. Experiences vary: some people prefer the smooth balanced spin, while others value the stronger counterbalanced movement created by removing an arm.

Care and safety
Keep dry and wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Water, moisture, sanitiser, soaps and other chemicals may affect the finish or cause rust. Check that the arms and centre are secure before use. Inspect regularly and discontinue use if damaged.
The centre section and removable spheres may gradually loosen with repeated use. Check them regularly and gently retighten as needed as part of normal maintenance. Do not overtighten.
Not suitable for children aged 3 years and under due to small parts. The removable arms must be stored securely and used with appropriate supervision. Do not throw or use the spinner as an impact object.
