Short Finger Protectors – Set of 10 | Super Stretchy Picking Support
A shorter, super-stretchy silicone barrier designed to cover the picking area while leaving more of the finger free.
Short Finger Protectors can be worn on fingers or thumbs to create a physical barrier and a gentle reminder around skin, cuticle or nail picking. Their shorter 26 mm length makes them less enclosing than our Full Finger Protectors while still covering the area many people need protected.
They are slightly narrower when resting, but highly stretchy. Although approximately 20 mm wide unstretched, they stretch to fit the same fingers as the larger Full Finger Protectors and are very flexible in sizing.
Choosing the right fit
These may be a helpful option for people who want protection around the fingertip, nail or cuticle without the longer 43 mm coverage of the Full Finger Protectors. They can also suit people who find a shorter sleeve less intrusive for everyday hand use.

- For comparison, the Full Finger Protectors are approximately 43 mm long and 24 mm wide unstretched.
- The silicone is highly stretchy, so the smaller resting diameter does not mean a smaller fitted finger size.
- These can be trimmed if needed, although cutting may reduce longevity.

Sensory profile
Soft, smooth and stretchy silicone with light compression around the covered area. Wearing a protector also changes the tactile feedback available from the fingertip, nail or skin.

They may not suit people who want full-finger coverage, dislike pressure or enclosed sensations around their fingers, or require a medically fitted dressing. These are a sensory and harm-minimisation support, not a medical device.

Wash in warm soapy water, rinse well and allow to dry thoroughly. A tiny silicone ball may occasionally be present at the tip as a normal result of the mould-injection process. It can be removed easily and is not a product fault.
For hygiene reasons, change-of-mind returns or exchanges cannot be accepted once opened.

Not suitable for children aged 3 years and under. Inspect before each use and discontinue use if torn or damaged. Do not wear so tightly or for so long that circulation, sensation or skin integrity is affected. Remove immediately if there is pain, numbness, discolouration, swelling or irritation.
