Ideal exploration fidget kit, with 7 different metal fidgets that are discreet, quiet & suitable for those that want age appropriate supports.  It allows you to explore and establish preferred sensory preferences. 

Purposely selected to cover a range of sensory preferences, from super soft (caterpillar) to high sensory input (spikey) & everything in between.  With the exception of the finger spikey, all are hand crafted here in Melbourne.

Ages: 5+ - not suitable for 3 and under due to small parts.  

Keeping the fidgets sanitised.  - They are fine to wipe , ours regularly go through washing machine, the trick is to ensure they are dried thoroughly. If left wet/damp (eg in washing machine lol) they can rust in appearance a little but generally does not affect function. wiping with an antibacterial wipe or damp cloth then drying off thoroughly is the key. Can be popped in low oven to dry for 10 mins.  Let cool prior to touching. Full water emersion is not suitable for the mini cog.  

Materials: Stainless steel, carbon steel, polyester & iron with the chain being nickel electroplated which helps protect against corrosion and improve wear resistance.

Initially I bought one of the bike chains and then the works kit for my Year 8 son, who is an extremely bright kid who gets anxious and overwhelmed, particularly at school. Your fidgits are easily the best he has ever had. He makes sure he has one in his pocket every day (often the magic ball) because they really help him keep calm and focussed at school. In addition, he loves that they look like cool metal parts instead of a sensory toy, so he isn’t embarrassed to use them – in fact a number of his mates want to use them all the time! My 10 year old daughter then tried them out and said they helped her too so I got her a works kit as well. I actually think everybody, including adults, would benefit from having them.

I hope you don’t mind my long feedback, but I just wanted you to know what a difference your products have made.

Was absolutely thrilled to see how quickly they arrived - was over the moon with the contents and thought the key chain was a great idea, one minor thing that was a bit upsetting but was completely my fault was that I attempted to put the finger spikey over my wrist and I'd had it for less than 5 minutes before *poof* - broken. However that is no reflection on your product, just my own stupidity. Thank you very much for these, i highly recommended them for others. 😊

Eek i just saw what happened to your finger spikey. They definitely dont like being over stretched as you found out, big bugger though you are right! . We do actually have wrist spikeys too so if wanting to wear on wrist this would be the go. Next time you order ill happily replace the finger spikey anyway. :) Jo

If it’s in the photo, it’s one I love. The other naughty two I don’t like. I get cranky as they don’t bring me joy. Love the little spinner one, the textured blue ring ,the caterpillar and love the one with the tiny rings so much. Spinning, twirling, the ring shapes on rings seem to be my fave too. I like how similar and consistent they are.

At times, our little man can have a little trouble focussing and keeping calm. Hand fidgets have definitely helped.

Being mechanically inclined, we’ve found he is not particularly interested in traditional squishy/spikes fidgets but has favoured matchbox cars and spinners, things with moving parts. These ‘toys’ can at times be distracting to his classmates.

Recently we discovered Kaiko Fidgets. Kai and the team must have must been reading Archie’s mind when they created ‘ The Works’ . To say was is a little excited, would be an understatement.

With the help of his new fidgets, he has shown a remarkable improvement at preschool, come time to participate in the group or sedentary activities. Furthermore, they have helped to calm him in moments of tension/frustration.

They are perfect for him and have been much appreciated by his educators also.

FAQ

How is my order shipped?

Typically we use Australia Post.  If it is more economical, we may use an alternative carrier and we deliver Australia wide.

We aim to post within 24 hours of receiving our order.

Once payment has been received we will send you an email confirmation.

Postage times will vary depending on location however in most cases you should receive your order within 3-5 business days from the purchase date.

Large or special items may incur additional postage and handling charges.

Can I have it sent Express Post?

Absolutely!  Just select that option at check out.  

Express Post orders are sent via Australia Post. Please refer to the Australia Post website for delivery time frames.  For items larger than Australia Post limits we use a range of courier services. 

Do you ship internationally?

We ship to most destinations around the world.  There are some set up for flat rate shipping. 

Please note that charges do not include any duty/taxes charged by your country's port authorities (if applicable).  You will be responsible for any charges they may add.  We are unable to quote these as they vary immensely from country to country. 

If you country isn't setup for flat rate shipping please email us a list of the products you are interested in and your shipping information /address to jo@kaikofidgets.com and we can provide you with a quote.

Again, please remember customs and duties are the responsibility of the Customer.

Please note shipping to Europe and UK is currently disabled on the website while I try get my head around the Brexit law changes and regulations.  

If your order is over 135 pound (approx 260 AUD) then we can ship and you pay the VAT on its arrival.  Unfortunately orders under this amount are way to complicated to manage as we have to charge all the fees our end. 

This is what is on the UK information pages:  For the sale of goods over £135, you might not be required to collect VAT at the point of sale. In this case, VAT and duties are remitted by the importer. If you use registration-based taxes and have a UK VAT registration, then VAT will not be applied to your sales to customers in the UK. If you choose to, you can charge your customer for VAT and duties at the time of sale, and then provide these funds to the shipper or importer using a shipping label. Alternately, you can send the orders without charging VAT and duties, and your customer will pay extra funds at the time of delivery. 

How can I track my order?

When we ship your order, we automatically send you your tracking number. (Please check your junk folder)

What is your return policy?

All claims must be made within 14 days of delivery.

Please contact us quoting your order number, with details of your proposed return before proceeding.

Unless the goods are defective or sent in error, you will be required to pay postage with tracking to return goods. Items must be received in original, unopened condition and packaged safely so damage does not occur.

If returned goods are used or in an unsaleable condition, then your return may not be processed.  There is no return or exchange available on discounted or on sale items.

What if my order is damaged when it arrives?

If the goods are faulty, damaged on arrival or they have been incorrectly described we offer the choice of a refund or exchange.

Please contact us with 48 hours of accepting delivery. 

We may ask for images to help investigate the damage or fault. 

Can I pick up?

Pick up is welcome, generally Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am - 4.30pm
Location for pick up is Tarneit Victoria, 3029
Details of location will be sent once the order is ready for collection.
After hours collection may be possible with notice from an alternate location in Tarneit.

Frequently asked question

We are passionate about making sure you have the right product for your needs. If you change your mind about the purchased items, you are welcome to return it to us (at your cost) and we will provide you with a credit so you can chose something else.  

All returned items must be in original, unused and unopened condition and proof of purchase will be required.

Please note that, for hygiene reasons, we cannot accept change of mind returns or exchanges for any oral motor/chewable related items, wearable items such as body socks & fabric items such as weighted products.
